Highland MBA launch

UHI has formed a partnership with Strathclyde University to deliver the Strathclyde Masters of Business Administration (MBA) right here in the Highlands and Islands, giving a unique opportunity to ensure your business skills are absolutely as good as they can be.

With the economic downturn and the opportunities provided by the global age it has never been more crucial that those working in and running businesses have best practice knowledge and skills. This MBA can help you develop the skills and knowledge, and also further develop your support networks, to support you and your business in the longer term.

The Strathclyde MBA has been around for over 30 years and during that time has developed into a uniquely integrated programme. The Strathclyde Business School is one of only a small number of schools anywhere in the world to have gained all of the internationally recognised accreditations: AMBA (Association of MBAs), AACSB (American), and EQUIS (European Foundation for Management Development). These awards recognise the quality of the programmes, with each one involving extensive inspection, interviews with students and staff, and visits to all aspects of the facilities.

This world-class MBA has been specifically configured for the distance learning needs of those living in remote areas. Individuals who have extensive experience in operating businesses in the highlands and islands will be involved in directly supporting the programme to ensure that the needs of local business leaders and manager are fully met. The programme will support you in the challenge of growing a world-class business, large or small, in this region.

You can find more information about the MBA at:

and

The fees are currently around £4000 per student, per year for each of the three years of the programme and they can be paid either by an organisation in a single payment or, if you are self-financing, in 3 or 8 instalments.
