This role is truly diverse and allows you to influence the growth of the partnership. You will be involved in the following: • Preparation of accounts for a range of clients in varied industries • Review of accounts and clear points quickly and effectively • Schedule points for clearance and prepare draft correspondence • Assist with the control and monitoring of progress on accounts and audit assignments • Prepare a list of points for the Partner to discuss with a client in advance of a meeting • Attend meetings with clients, potential clients and contacts, making notes as appropriate and progressing action points • Answer letters and queries as requested and within defined timescales • Plan future work and its timing • Anticipate issues which require attention • Review and control WIP, preparing draft fees for approval • Ensure effective maintenance of credit control over clients • Provide a point of contact for clients when the Partner is unavailable • Answer client queries quickly and correctly • Develop business contacts and cultivate potential clients • Assist the Partner with a range of development activities including coordinating mailing lists, target lists, circulars, etc.

Who we’re looking for You will be a self starter seeking a long term career in an established, yet growing Scottish firm. You will be CA or ACCA qualified (or close to) and have experience in either Audit and Assurance or Accounting.
