Monthly management accounts and annual statutory accounts preparation including liaison with auditors Interpretation and analysis of accounts (internal and external) PAYE/ NIC Payroll procedures including end of year documentation Employment legislation & Human Resource Management VAT and Corporation tax compliance and computations Budgetary forecasting Cash-flow management Staff supervision (Sales/Purchase Ledger/Payroll & Receptionist) Understanding of banking procedures, including currency accounts and foreign exchange Credit control (including credit ratings and searches on new clients and legal process for debt recovery) Understanding of company legislation and Companies House regulations and procedures including statutory returns, HRMC legal submissions. Computer literacy (Sage Line 50, Sage Payroll, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook) Capital project financing Client contract negotiations Contract financing Financial contract negotiations Debtor expediting
Person Specification Qualified CA/ACA or equivalent Excellent communicator at all levels Strong negotiating skills Good organisational skills Significant experience in a commercial setting
