Electronic Test Technicians

SEIL has been one of the fastest growing companies in UK. A Hi-Tech company which designs & manufactures electronics for demanding applications in the Oil & Gas, Space, Defence (Naval & Airborne) & Nuclear Research Industries. SEIL’s Motion Controls Division is looking to expand our workforce immediately in the above positions and being of high integrity, skilled & professional is essential.

Duties to include, but not limited to: On site training. Testing prototypes and production motion control Servo products, Motor Drive Amplifiers and Harsh environment electronics. Vetting of Electronic Circuits & PCB layouts. Working in a team up to 3 Engineers / Technicians. Work to ISO 9001:2000 department procedures.

Qualifications: HND/HNC minimum in Electronic & Electrical Engineering or related subject.

Required Skills: Electronic Circuit Testing – Analogue, Digital and Microcontroller. Integration Embedded Software from assembler to high level C++. PIC Microcontroller testing. Data Acquisition circuitry testing. Low Power Design, FET, IGBT’s, 3 Ph. Electronic System test. SMT & PTH PCB’s testing and efficient production practices.

Preferred Skills: FPGA / CPLD / DSP / VSDL design. Design for Hazardous Areas EEX i, EEX d, EEX p. Electronics design in high temp, shock & vibration environments. Experienced in the environmental testing of electronics. CE approval, EMC, LVD. Fieldbus Interface Design.
