Our Client, a leading global provider of engineering and construction services, technology products and integrated solutions has an excellent opportunity for a Senior HSE Engineer to join their subsea business.

As Lead Structural Engineer your main responsibilities will be:

• To manage and co-ordinate the discipline activities within a project, ensuring the technical integrity of designs undertaken by engineers and designers under his/her control. • Responsible for planning and recruitment of project manpower. • Co-ordinate and manage the assigned discipline engineers within the group ensuring adequate staffing, technical quality and timely work performance within the group. • Ensure the co-ordination of the work with other disciplines on all multi-discipline projects. Maintain professional standards within the group and ensure that the work complies with Company objectives and procedures. • To provide guidance and leadership in technical matters and to ensure that his group are aware of and are working to current engineering standards and procedures.. • To raise overtime request forms where required on a project. • Responsibility for the technical integrity of the work carried out by the group. • Ensure the compliance of the design and procurement activities with QMS procedures and all relevant statutory regulations, codes and standards. • Obtain a defined scope of work from the project engineer. Ensure that the workscope is fully defined and in accordance with the clients requirements.

Knowledge/Experience/Qualifications Educated to degree level with appropriate professional qualifications preferred. Chartered engineer preferred. Ability to estimate, plan & execute work effectively. Conversant with relevant industry codes standards and legal requirements. Abreast of latest relevant technical developments within the oil & gas industry generally. Demonstrable relevant professional experience. Communicate effectively within the organisation and with clients. Effective management and development of discipline resources.
