Principal Drilling Engineer

Our client, a relatively new operator in the North Sea Oil and Gas sector has an extensive and aggressive drilling programme set for 2009 and beyond and they would like to identify an experienced Drilling professional to drive this programme forward The Principal Drilling Engineer ensures that all drilling activities are conducted in accordance with all HSE, technical, operational, contractual and financial requirements. You will be responsible for proactively constructing well engineering plans and for identifying opportunities to improve HSE performance, increase well productivity and reduce cost. The position requires in-depth knowledge for the design and execution of all well engineering programs, including activities in subsea environments, and experience in leadership roles.
