We have an excellent opportunity to join one of the worlds leading Operators, renowned for introducing innovate technologies to their mature fields and maximising production within the North Sea.

Currently our client is keen to appoint an experienced Safety Advisor to provide effective Health & Safety advisory support to its Production Operations.

The Position • Management of incident data spreadsheet and preparation of routine analysis reports • Reviewing quality of incident reports and appropriateness of corrective actions • Administer weekly production incident review meeting • Provide Production with support and advice as required when requested • Attendance at Production morning meetings, and follow up on issues as required • Act as initial point of contact in HSEQ for Health & Safety Executive (HSE) in terms of arranging visits to installations and routine onshore meetings to follow up on inspections and incidents • Co-ordinate contributions and prepare draft responses to HSE on behalf Production following offshore inspections • Represent Company at relevant Step Change meetings • Engage and support offshore Safety Representatives • Or any other tasks as assigned from time to time with the agreement of the line manager

The Person • Practical hands on experience of working in an operational oil & gas environment. • Detailed knowledge of principle UKCS offshore health & safety legislation. • Proven ability to communicate effectively by way of written reports and presentation to workforce as required • Proven administrative skill to manage flow of information to and from HSE, including coordinating responses from within Company to matters HSE may raise during inspections. • Experience in drafting procedures and instructions for “safety management system Ref.
