Our Client is looking to appoint an experienced Workshop Controller. Duties:

1. arrange work schedules for 8 technicians daily. 2. record and monitor daily technician efficiency. 3. Seek prior approval for all works inc retail.warranty and internal. 4. conduct random quality checks and monitor quality of work. 5. cost all work on completion. 6. monitor additional work required prepare costings for same. 7. prepare warranty claims for on going submission. 8. monitor warranty claims and seek approval via land rover. 9. oversee job progress and ensure completion times met.

Hours of work will be 8:00 am until 5.30 pm. There is not normally a requirement for weekend working.

Salary is circa 18,000 – 20,000 depending on experience.

Someone who has been responsible for running a garage/workshop would be preferred and they have to have some sort of relevant experience in a workshop or garage.
