Eden Court is the Theatre for the Highlands and Islands and is committed to presenting a wide and varied programme of music, drama, dance, comedy and film and a range of arts education and participation opportunities to appeal to all residents of the Highlands and visitors to the area.

Summary of responsibilities

As a Front-of-House Duty Manager you will act as duty manager at Eden Court for the duration of your shift. You will be responsible for managing all the ushering staff and for ensuring that the public who attend performances, films, education events and meetings at Eden Court are well looked after. You are responsible for ensuring that they feel welcome, that they can find all the services they require and that they are safe at all times. You will do this by managing your team of ushers effectively and by liaising with all the other relevant departments at Eden Court to ensure that all our services are delivered in an appropriate manner. You will sometimes be the senior member of staff on duty and you will normally be the senior customer facing member of staff. You may be responsible for concurrent performances in both theatres, both cinemas, both studios and activity in meeting rooms.
