At the NCH Scotland Gael Og Project in Inverness, we have two Projects specifically designed to provide a Mentoring Service to children and young people between 5–18 years, to address the diverse needs of Highlands young people.
We strive to enable our service users to maintain their participation in education, employment and the community using innovative strategies constantly developing.
You will be required to assist the Project Co-ordinator in the development and day to day requirements of the two Projects. You will be responsible for supervision of both Mentors and Volunteers and ensuring effective monitoring of referrals to provide early interventions for younger children and after care support for older young people.
We are looking for an individual who possesses the relevant skills for this post and must have experience in a similar field.
The ideal candidate will have a strong value base and understanding of diversity in relation to children and young peoples needs. This is initially to cover maternity leave for 9 months.
