Payroll Supervisor

Blue Arrow’s client is currently recruiting for a Payroll Supervisor for their expanding accounts department. Applicants should be technically competent in all aspects of payroll and have the personality to develop strong relationships with customers and other team members as necessary. Working closely with the payroll manager applicants will be responsible for:-

• setting up new payrolls with written procedures • contributing to the development of procedures that will maintain and enhance the high standard of work within the department • providing support to other payroll staff to ensure that the departmental workload is completed in a controlled manner • processing a number of e complex/larger payrolls handling a variety of technical issues including report design, e-filing, data import and export

Previous payroll experience in a complex payroll environment using modern payroll systems is essential along with a well developed knowledge of Payroll legislation. Applicants should also be IT Literate with previous experience working with MS Office applications, Sage Payroll and Windows Operating Systems.
