A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a leading oil and gas company as a Fiscal Accountant. My client, one of the largest geographic markets in the world, is based in Westhill, Aberdeen.

The Opportunity As Fiscal Accountant reporting to the Fiscal Accounts Supervisor, you will join a team of 12 assisting in the preparation of annual accounts for this division of a truly global company. Working closely with the management accounts department you will review P&Ls and Balance Sheets for on and offshore activities. You will be involved in the preparation of the Statutory Reporting Pack, with analysis of the variance in profits and commentary.

This role will support you through your professional qualification providing scope for career and personal development. There will be opportunity to pursue a specialism in tax, treasury or management accounting together with the prospect to travel.

The Candidate As the ideal candidate, you must be ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent and possess a strong understanding of debits and credits. You will be a self motivated individual with good attention to detail who is able to demonstrate their ability to work within a large team. Although this role involves reviews, current experience of this is not essential.
