Experienced Graduate civil/water/wastewater engineer Job:IRC4721

Job: IRC4721 The Halcrow Inverness office serves the Highlands of Scotland, working with public and private clients, contractors and developers from Perth to Shetland, Aberdeenshire to the Western Isles. A significant part of the business relates to various contracts and frameworks for Scottish Water and its agencies, delivering design and project management services for water and wastewater projects. Key Objectives The principal function of this position is to: Assist with design projects and packages of work within the framework or on stand-alone projects. Key Responsibilities The priorities of this role include: Working in small teams to deliver technical solutions to time and budget, reporting to Framework or Project Managers and responding to changing demands where required. The successful candidate will work within established quality management systems and team structure. Job Requirements The ideal candidate should possess and be able to demonstrate the following skills and knowledge. These points should align with the key areas of responsibility –

• Experience of working on water and wastewater infrastructure design. In particular trunk watermains and pumped wastewater systems • Working in a multi-disciplinary design team • Experience in hydraulic analysis • Experience gained in the UK water sector in the last 2–3 years • Good communication skills • UK driver licence holder Additional Details Relevant Degree or appropriate qualifications required
