At ITP we have over 20 years experience in using competence frameworks as the means to structure industry sector specific development programmes.

Implementing competence based recruitment interviews into our recruitment processes means that all our submitted candidates undertake a rigorous interview process whereby we ascertain their level of competence.

Each industry sector within the UK is represented by what are known as Skill Sector Councils (SSC’s). These councils are charged with all skills development issues within particular industries. Each identified skill area within an industry contains “job competence frameworks” which determine the skill requirements for an area of work. These frameworks are used to design all required training and development but are also used by quality assured recruiters as the basis to both interview and check a candidate’s actual competence.

We have in place a core team consisting of professionally qualified recruiters / skills assessors who hold considerable cross sector expertise. To aid us in our administrative and support processes, we have successfully used advances in technology which have helped us to both deliver an efficient service and to identify savings in the recruitment process which we have passed onto clients.
