DSM in Scotland

The Dalry site was established in 1958 as a single production unit manufacturing Vitamin A. Since then, major investments over the past 50 years have transformed the site from a single production building to a highly automated operation, manufacturing Vitamin C, Calcium-D-Pantothenate (Vitamin B5) and Panthenol. A recent project involved the commissioning of a new Central Control Room which enables the production plants, the power house and the waste water treatment plant to be controlled from one single location (previously there were 18 satellite control room).

The Dalry site currently employees 330 permanent staff and is the Head Office for two other sites in the UK, namely in Heanor, Derbyshire and Belfast.
